Dinner Meetings
Dinner meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month usually at Snuffy's, at the corner of Park Avenue and Mountain Avenue, Scotch Plains. Registration starts at 6:00 pm, dinner is at 6:30 pm, and the program is at 7:30 pm.  For the latest meeting abstract and directions, click here.  In the table below, the “Loc” Column is the Location for the regular meetings, with S denoting Snuffy’s, BC denoting Rutgers Brower Commons, R for The Rutgers Club, and no designations for the plant tours.

Students can attend the dinner meetings free of charge.

Executive Committee Meetings
Executive Committee meetings are usually held at Paisano’s Pizza on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Exact Executive Committee meeting dates and locations are shown in the “Exec mtg” column below (P is Paisano’s Pizza).  All members are welcome.

Directions To Snuffy's Steakhouse (Monthly Meeting Location):

Route 22 East : (Scotch Plains, Berkeley Heights, Fanwood, New Providence Exit) - Make a right turn at the exit (under overpass) and then go straight on Park Avenue for about 100 yards. Snuffy's will be on the right.

Route 22 West : (Scotch Plains, Berkeley Heights, Fanwood, New Providence Exit) - At the exit, make a right turn. At the traffic light, make a left turn and take the overpass over Route 22. At the end of the overpass, make a right onto Park Avenue. Snuffy's will be on the right.

Garden State Parkway : (North and South) - Take Exit 140 from the Garden State Parkway and follow the signs for Route 22 West. Once on Route 22 West, follow the directions above.

Route 78 : (East and West) - Take Exit 41 from Route 78. Follow the signs to Scotch Plains. This will put you onto Plainfield Avenue. Follow Plainfield Avenue straight through the traffic light, where it becomes Bonnie Burn Road. Follow Bonnie Burn Road to the next traffic light and make a right turn. Follow the overpass over Route 22. At the end of the overpass, make a right onto Park Avenue. Snuffy's will be on the right.

New Jersey Turnpike : (North and South) - Take Exit 14 from the New Jersey Turnpike and follow the signs to Route 78 West. Once on Route 78 West, follow the directions above.

Directions To Paisano’s Pizza (Executive Committee Location, always one week after the main meeting):

1511 Rt 22 – Rear and West end of Watchung Square Mall (Near Borders on West, Home Depot on East), Watchung, NJ 07069, (908) 755-1944

 
Route 22 East : (Light at Wal-Mart, Watchung) – Take the jughandle at the light into Watchung Square Mall.   Drive up past Wal-Mart and Paisano’s is to the right of Borders.

Route 22 West : (2 nd Light for Watchung Square Mall) – This is just past the Mall and Wal-Mart is just west.   At the light, make a right turn into Watchung Square Mall.   Drive up past Wal-Mart and Paisano’s is to the right of Borders.

Garden State Parkway : (North and South) - Take Exit 140 from the Garden State Parkway and follow the signs for Route 22 West. Once on Route 22 West, follow the directions above.

Route 78 : (East and West) - Take Exit 40 from Route 78 (Gillette/Watchung). Head South onto Hillcrest Road (South is a right turn if you are Eastbound, and a left turn if you are Westbound).   At the bottom of Hillcrest road, make a right on Valley Road.     You will enter the Watchung Circle.   Travel ¾ of the way around the Circle and take the exit after the Watchung Municipal Building toward Route 22.   Make a left one block before Route 22 to go over it and take Route 22 East.   Once on Route 22 East, follow the directions above.

New Jersey Turnpike : (North and South) - Take Exit 14 from the New Jersey Turnpike and follow the signs to Route 78 West. Once on Route 78 West, follow the directions above.

From The New Jersey Turnpike:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike north or south to Exit 9.  Go north on Route 18 towards New Brunswick to the George Street exit.  At the traffic light, make a left onto George Street.  Once on George Street, make the first right onto Seminary Place.  Follow Seminary and make the first right onto College Avenue.  Continue on College Avenue to the second left and make the left onto Stone Street.  Go to the next intersection and make the right onto Sicard Street.  Follow Sicard for about 2 1/2 blocks.  The entrance to the parking lot will be on the right midway between Morrell and Senior Streets.  After parking the car, proceed down Morrell Street towards College Avenue.  Brower Commons will be on the opposite side of College Avenue.  

From Route 287 :
Take Exit 5 off of Route 287 and get onto Route 18 southbound.  Proceed south on Route 18 towards Highland Park and New Brunswick.  At the fifth traffic light, turn right onto the bridge.  (You’re still on Route 18; the sign will say 609 South).  Take the first exit for George Street and Rutgers University.  Stay to the right and at the traffic light make the right turn onto Huntington Street.  Follow Huntington to the traffic light and turn left onto College Avenue.  Continue on College Avenue to the second right and make the right onto Senior Street.  Go to the next intersection and make a left onto Sicard Street. The entrance to the parking lot will be about 1/2 block up on the left midway between Morrell and Senior Streets.  After parking the car, proceed down Morrell Street towards College Avenue.  Brower Commons will be on the opposite side of College Avenue.
